A classic Chicago hotel bar, made anew. Bar Pendry is an intimate cocktail bar on Michigan Avenue enveloped in heavy drapery and layered design details. A curated art collection and lavish double-sided fireplace create a moody, intimate setting for conversation and small gatherings over happy hour, evening cocktails, or after-dinner drinks. Unwind with a handcrafted cocktail, a menu of fine wines and beers or a selection of small plates and desserts certain to please any palate.
Saturdays | 11:00am – 3:00pm
Boozy Tea is afternoon tea with a cocktail twist at Bar Pendry, the fireside bar inside Pendry Chicago, served Saturdays for hotel Guests and the local community in 90-minute seatings for up to four Guests. Autumn Boozy Tea (through October 31) opens with a welcome mimosa and Rare Cellar Tea, then a three-tiered tower of seasonal sweets. Chefsgiving Boozy Tea (November 7 – 28) brings turkey and stuffing tea sandwiches and mini chicken pot pies, and $25 from every reservation goes to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Festive Boozy Tea (December 5 – 26) closes the year with mini lobster rolls, prime rib popovers and eggnog scones. Reservations are required.

Thanksgiving To-Go from Pendry Chicago brings a chef-prepared holiday feast to your table, with pickup at Bar Pendry on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, from 11:00am – 3:00pm. Order à la carte favorites or the complete prix fixe spread, from traditional sides to chef-driven dishes. Your table, your people, our kitchen. Pre-orders are required by November 13.

Celebrate Thanksgiving at Bar Pendry in Pendry Chicago with a holiday menu served all day on November 26, from 11:00am – 10:00pm. Pull up a chair by the fireplace for a long lunch or a late plate, and leave the dishes to us. Walk-in guests are welcome.

December 24 & 25 | 11:00am – 10:00pm
Celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Bar Pendry in Pendry Chicago, with a holiday menu served December 24 and 25 from 11:00am – 10:00pm. Order à la carte or settle in for the prix fixe, built on the flavors of the season. The fireplace is lit, so take your time. Walk-in guests are welcome.

November 21 – December 31
Live jazz returns to Bar Pendry at Pendry Chicago for the holiday season, with rotating trios playing by the fireplace every Saturday from 4:00pm – 6:00pm, November 21 – December 26. One more set lands on New Year’s Eve, December 31, at the same hour. Seasonal cocktails, a warm room and a band worth staying for. Walk-in guests are welcome.
December 31 | 11:00am – 2:00am
Live Jazz Trio | 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Ring in New Year’s Eve at Bar Pendry in Pendry Chicago, open December 31 from 11:00am straight through 2:00am. The fireplace stays lit and the classic cocktails keep pouring, with a live jazz trio from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. A Complimentary Champagne toast lands at 12:00am. Reservations are encouraged, but walk-in guests are welcome.
All food and beverage items are available à la carte.
Through January 3
Football season has a home base at Bar Pendry, the fireside bar inside Pendry Chicago, where a burger and a beer are $15 on NFL and college game days through January 3. Grab a seat by the double-sided fireplace, find the game and settle in with your crew. Walk-in guests are welcome.
