Fall has the rooftop at Château Carbide, Pendry Chicago’s 24th-floor bar, through November 7. Pumpkins, mums and harvest accents dress the terrace above Michigan Avenue, while the bar pours seasonal fall cocktails alongside a trio of pies. Sweater weather looks better from up here. Available to Guests 21 and older. Reservations are encouraged, but walk-in guests are welcome.

Rosé on the Rooftop pours at Château Carbide, the 24th-floor rooftop bar at Pendry Chicago, Thursday – Saturday evenings through November 7. Rosé for two arrives with a chef’s charcuterie board, and the cheese selection features Délice de Bourgogne and Drunken Goat. The skyline covers any lull in the conversation. Available to Guests 21 and older. Reservations are encouraged, but walk-in guests are welcome.

Boozy Tea is afternoon tea with a cocktail twist at Bar Pendry, the fireside bar inside Pendry Chicago, served Saturdays through the holidays for hotel Guests and the local community in 90-minute seatings for up to four Guests. Autumn Boozy Tea (through October 31) opens with a welcome mimosa and Rare Cellar Tea, then a three-tiered tower of pumpkin profiteroles, apple butterscotch scones and bourbon maple tarts. Chefsgiving Boozy Tea (November 7 – 28) brings turkey and stuffing tea sandwiches and mini chicken pot pies, and $25 from every reservation goes to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Picnic & Pedal pairs a two-hour e-bike ride with a packed picnic from the Pendry Chicago kitchen, daily through October 31. Ride from Michigan Avenue past Millennium Park to the Lake Michigan shoreline, then open a basket of sandwich bites, artisanal cheeses, charcuterie with seasonal jam and local honeycomb, Pendry chocolates and a fresh-pressed juice. Fall on the lakefront, handled. Reservations are required.

November 20 – February 27

Winter Garden returns to Château Carbide, the rooftop bar at Pendry Chicago, November 20 – February 27, with private chalets 24 floors above Michigan Avenue. Each chalet has its own fireplace, Apparis faux fur throws and room for up to five Guests, and winter small bites and seasonal cocktails come straight to the table. Seatings run 90 minutes at 5:00pm, 7:00pm and 9:00pm, Thursday – Saturday through December 31 and Friday – Saturday from January 15. Available to Guests 21 and older. Reservations are required.

The reservation fee is applied in full as a food and beverage credit during your seating. New Year’s Eve seatings are $150 per Chalet.

Sweet & Savory S’mores brings fireside s’mores to the Winter Garden at Château Carbide, the rooftop bar at Pendry Chicago, Thursday – Saturday from 4:00pm – 5:00pm, beginning November 21. Sweet and savory bites pair with a kettle of boozy hot chocolate in a private chalet for up to four Guests, open to hotel Guests and the local community. Skyline included. Available to Guests 21 and older. Reservations are required.

Chalets are $105 for three Guests and $140 for four Guests. Price is exclusive of tax and service charge.

Start a private Chicago architecture walking tour in the Lobby of Pendry Chicago, inside the 1929 Carbide & Carbon Building, with an expert guide from Chicago Museum Tours. The Art Deco landmark sets the tone with dark green terracotta, gold leaf and a Belgian marble lobby before you head south along Michigan Avenue and into the Loop, stepping inside skyscrapers shaped by Daniel Burnham, Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright. The two-hour tour covers about two miles at your group’s pace, with start times on the hour from 9:00am – 2:00pm. Reservations are required.

Wednesday – Monday | 10:30am & 2:00pm

Tour the Art Institute of Chicago privately with an expert guide from Chicago Museum Tours, half a mile down Michigan Avenue from Pendry Chicago. Two hours move from Impressionist icons to the Asian and American collections at one of the oldest and largest art museums in the country, with museum admission included. Tours at 10:30am meet at the north lion statue for early access, while 2:00pm tours, plus 5:00pm tours on Thursdays, meet inside the main entrance lobby by the gift shop. Private groups of up to 10 Guests are welcome. Reservations are required.

Pricing is $350 for one Guest plus $35 for each additional Guest, up to $665 for 10 Guests.

The Pendry Chicago concierge arranges VIP tickets to Shedd Aquarium on Chicago’s Museum Campus, so you can take in everything from beluga whales to stingrays at your own pace. Every Child’s ticket comes with a Pendry gift. Ask the concierge about private tours and animal encounters with penguins, beluga whales and sea otters. Reservations are required.
