The Farm is a wide-open wonderland where guests can see how produce, microgreens, herbs and seasonal vegetables translate to the Ninety Acres dining experience. We take pride in offering organic heirloom crops, carefully cultivated to bring you the most exquisite flavors. The great outdoors. We invite guests of Pendry Natirar to enjoy an up-close look at Natirar’s sustainable, regenerative farm and core farming practices, including the on-site apiary. Meet our favorite friends during an animal introduction featuring a visit with free-range chickens and sheep. Next, we will stop by the greenhouse to stimulate the senses, learn about indoor growing techniques, and visit one of our thriving bee boxes.
This is a complimentary one-hour experience for Pendry Natirar guests. The Morning Farm Tour will begin on the front patio of Ninety Acres restaurant, adjacent to the Mansion and Hotel. Please wear closed-toe outdoor footwear appropriate for the natural farm setting. This experience is exclusive to Pendry Natirar guests and members of The Natirar Club.
Monday – Friday | 11:00am – 12:30pm
The seeds we sow. Explore them in Pendry style with a bespoke private farm tour, offering an up-close look at Natirar’s sustainable, regenerative farm featuring immersive seasonal activities, greenhouse tours, specifics on our core farming practices, and encounters with our farm animals. Harvest eggs for breakfast at Ladd’s Tavern, spend time in pasture learning about and feeding our beloved sheep or choose from interactive topics in the greenhouse such as seed sowing and care, transplant techniques, produce cultivation and flower growing, each highlighted with in-depth instruction, information and expert guidance from our farm manager, Melinda Hopkins.
This is a ninety-minute private experience. The Farmer for the Day experience will begin on the front patio of Ninety Acres restaurant located adjacent to the Mansion and Hotel. Please wear closed-toe outdoor footwear appropriate for the natural farm setting. Due to updated guidance from the Department of Health and the FDA, we are unable to welcome any pets, including dogs at the farm. This experience is exclusive to guests of Pendry Natirar and members of The Natirar Club.
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 9:30am – 10:30am
Get up close and very personal with the fascinating world of bees and beekeeping with a guided experience at our on-site apiary where our resident beekeepers will introduce you to the endlessly interesting species, their pivotal role in our ecosystem, honey harvesting and more. During winter months, the outdoor bee boxes cannot be opened to ensure the safety of the bees during colder temperatures. Guests will enjoy a bee box viewing in the heated green house with full visibility of the queen bee and hundreds of others. Bee suits are not required for this viewing. Each guest will enjoy a taste of Natirar honey on the tour and a two-ounce jar to take away.
This is a one-hour private experience. Wisdom of the Hive will begin on the front patio of Ninety Acres restaurant located adjacent to the the Mansion and Hotel. Please wear long pants and closed-toe outdoor footwear appropriate for the natural farm setting. This experience is exclusive to guests of Pendry Natirar and members of The Natirar Club.
