A very Pendry holiday. We’re welcoming the season in signature style with our annual tree lighting, featuring the unveiling of our 30-foot-tall festive fir decorated in its holiday best alongside carolers, seasonal crafts, spiced cider, hot chocolate bar and a special visit from Santa himself. Doors open at 4:30, Tree lighting and Santa appearance at 5:30pm on the Front Drive.

See the spirit of the season as only Newport Beach knows it with an evening cruise aboard the Aperitivo, a 34’ private boat charter departing from the renowned Balboa Bay Club, giving you an up-close tour of the Newport Harbor’s ever-charming display of holiday lights, décor and quintessential Southern California Christmas style.

This is a 4-hour family-friendly experience available for up to 10 guests.

We’re donning our season’s best. All month long. Pendry Newport Beach is putting a signature spin on the holidays with a Festive Pool Cabana Takeover, featuring an awe-inspiring transformation of our poolside cabanas, courtesy of Roger’s Gardens, turning them into a festive and cozy private wonderland featuring holiday decor, fire pit, music, and dining with a side of extra special.

This is a 4-hour family-friendly experience available for up to 10 guests. Reservations are required a minimum of 48 hours in advance.

December | Thursdays – Saturdays | 2:00pm – 6:00pm

Making spirits bright. Join us for a special seasonal spin on our Cocktail Making Series. Experience a hands-on holiday class where you’ll enjoy tastings of four classic drinks, including a Coquito, a Puerto-Rican coconut-based classic; a Mexican Christmas Punch with wine, cinnamon, hibiscus and guava; Pendry Egg Nog laced with whiskey, tequila and chili; and our signature Pendry Mulled Wine, all topped off with a delightful dose of merry on the side.

This private 60-minute experience is available for up to four hotel guests or Elwood Club members, age 21+, with a 72-hour advanced reservation. Alternative days and times available upon request.

December days, made extra sweet. Add a little magic to your season with an afternoon at Pendry Newport Beach with Mrs. Claus featuring story time, letter writing to Santa, holiday crafts and sweet treats.

A symbol of the season. Pendry Newport Beach invites you to celebrate the storied celebration of Hanukkah from December 14th to 22nd with a nightly sundown lighting of the menorah paired with a prayer, gelt, dreidel games and more.
