Anne Marie Doyle Appointed as General Manager of
Pendry West Hollywood
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 20, 2023) – Pendry Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Anne Marie Doyle as general manager of Pendry West Hollywood. With more than three decades of luxury hotel industry experience and a proven record of success in sales and marketing and operational management for Montage International, Doyle now oversees all operations of Pendry West Hollywood.
“Anne Marie is a dynamic hospitality professional who we have been very fortunate to have in the Montage International family for the last five years,” said Jason Herthel, president and chief operating officer of Montage International. “We are thrilled to now have her at the helm of Pendry West Hollywood, where she will serve as our first female general manager and newest addition to Montage International’s growing team of female executives.”
Doyle joins Pendry West Hollywood from Montage Hotels & Resorts’ flagship property, Montage Laguna Beach, where she originally joined as the director of sales and marketing in 2018, and most recently served as the hotel manager. Prior to her role at Montage, Doyle was director of sales and marketing for various luxury hotel and resort properties including: The Ritz-Carlton in Rancho Mirage, California; The Ritz-Carlton Powerscourt in County Wicklow, Ireland; multiple Fitzpatrick Lifestyle Hotels in Dublin; The Shelbourne Dublin, A Renaissance Hotel; and Marriott Druids Glen Resort in Newton Mount Kennedy, Ireland. She also played a key role in transitioning the former Bacara Resort into the Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara. Her dedication to the field of sales and marketing was honored with Director of the Year and Sales Team of the Year awards from Strategic Hotels and Resorts in 2021. Doyle also spent significant time in operations early in her career, most notably as general manager of The Glenview Hotel in Glen of the Downs, Ireland, and deputy general manager of The George Hotel, Northern England.
Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, Doyle earned a diploma in hotel management from Dublin Institute of Technology. During her time in Laguna Beach, she was an avid volunteer for the local chapter of The Boys and Girls Club, for which she was recognized as Volunteer of the Year, as well as for Visit Laguna Beach and Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce.
