From Holiday Dining Offerings to Festive Seasonal Packages – Pendry Celebrates the Holiday Season from Coast to Coast
Orange County, Calif. (November 11, 2020) – Pendry Hotels & Resorts today announced its lineup of holiday programming offered from Thanksgiving through Christmas at Pendry San Diego and Sagamore Pendry Baltimore. From Pendry San Diego’s annual ChefsGiving and a new room package with more room to experience San Diego, to Sagamore Pendry Baltimore’s Winter Wonderland, local Holiday Retail Pop Up Shops and more, guests will find many ways to celebrate the holidays at Pendry Hotels & Resorts this season.
Holidays are the perfect time to develop and enhance an emotional bond with our guests and audiences on social media. For this reason, Pendry Hotels & Resorts will launch Postcards from Pendry, a social media campaign that will be live from Monday, November 30, 2020 through Wednesday, December 30, 2020. As part of the campaign, Pendry is inviting guests and locals to fill out a Pendry Postcard with their future 2021 travel goals at each Pendry hotel this holiday season. While at the hotel, guests can place the postcard on the tree and snap a photo to share with followers on their social media pages, utilizing the hashtag #PostcardsfromPendry. To expand the campaign this year to those who are unable to travel to a Pendry property, we will encourage followers to make a #PostcardfromPendry at-home, available for download from our website and share a picture of their 2021 travel goals, and post on social media using #PostcardsfromPendry and #PendryAtHome. The holiday spirit of Pendry will then reach both guests on property as well as our followers from the comfort of their own home.
Located in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, Pendry San Diego will offer the following special packages, unique food and beverage offerings, and special celebratory events throughout the 2020 holiday season:
• House-made Desserts (November 1-December 31) – Freshly baked holiday pies will be available for pick-up at Provisional Kitchen, Café & Mercantile through December 31. In November, choose between classic pumpkin pie, or pecan. In December, enjoy festive cookies, assorted flavors. All pies are available in 9-inch sizes, and orders must be placed 48 hours in advance.
• ChefsGiving at Home at Provisional Kitchen, Café & Mercantile (November 26) – Inspired by the spirit of Thanksgiving, join six of San Diego’s most renowned chefs including Provisional Kitchen, Café & Mercantile Chef de Cuisine Brandon Sloan, and Lionfish Executive Chef JoJo Ruiz, as they prepare and share ‘dinner with a cause’ to enjoy at home! The ChefsGiving meal will include a different, creative holiday dish prepared by each of the chefs, ready to be served to your friends and family—in the comfort of your own home. Each ChefsGiving at Home meal ($250) serves four people includes a $50 donation to the San Diego Food Bank. Meals can be reserved via Eventbrite.
• Thanksgiving at Provisional Kitchen, Café & Mercantile (November 26, 3pm – 9pm) – For those whom might have missed “ChefsGiving dinner,” there is one more chance to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at Provisional Kitchen with a specially crafted 3-course prix fixe menu. Adults $85 per person, children $25 (ages 3-12).
• Friendsgiving at Nason’s Beer Hall (November 26) – Enjoy a fun and safe “Friendsgiving” at Nason’s with football, craft brews and friends in a casual setting complete with 23 HDTVs, floor-to-ceiling, open-out windows and ample seating space for small groups to enjoy a Thanksgiving-inspired dinner, and football all day on November 26, beginning with kick-off at 9am. Expect pigskin, paired with a special Nason’s brunch menu of “turkey-day” favorites.
• Deck the Halls of Nason’s Beer Hall (November 26-December 31) – It’s the most wonderful time for a beer! This holiday season, Nason’s is decking its hall with the jolliest, over-the-top holiday décor. Visit Nason’s for frosty beers, jolly cocktails, tasty bites, and festive merriment.
• Hanukkah (December 10-28) – Join Pendry San Diego and light the Menorah each evening at sunset during the eight days of Hanukkah, located in the lobby.
• Pancakes and Pajamas Holiday Brunch at Provisional Kitchen, Café & Mercantile (December 19, 9am to 2pm) – No need to wear your ‘holiday best’ for this brunch. Join Pendry San Diego for a festive holiday brunch…in your PJs! Enjoy a pancake board to share for the table with toppings and accompaniments, brunch favorites, and a pair of complimentary children’s holiday pajamas from chic pajama partner P.J. Salvage. Children $35* (ages 3-12) *includes children’s’ pajamas.
• 12 Days of Hoppiness at Nason’s Beer Hall (December 13-24) – Join Nason’s Beer Hall for 12 Days of Hoppiness: 12 days of daily specials including a ¢.50 beer for a selfie with an ‘elfie,’ complimentary appetizers when you wear an ugly Christmas sweater and burger and beer for $13.
• Christmas Day Dinner (December 25, 4pm – 9pm) – Celebrate Christmas Day with a special 3-course menu featuring entrées such as Black Tuffle Cauliflower Soup; 14 oz. Ribeye; lobster ravioli and maple Basque cake. Adults $85 per person, children $25 (ages 3-12).
• The More, The Merrier package (bookable now, and valid for travel through January 3, 2021) – Whether seeking warmer climates for the winter season, or traveling to celebrate the holidays with family and friends in San Diego, reserve The More, The Merrier package and receive a complimentary second guest room upon booking. Two seating times available; 6pm and 8pm. $175 per guest; $325 per guest with wine pairing, 72- hour advance reservation required.
• Thanksgiving at Rec Pier Chop House (November 26, 5pm-10pm) – Gather and give thanks with loved ones this year at Rec Pier Chop House. This year’s menu of seasonal favorites includes butternut squash soup and honey brined turkey with traditional Thanksgiving sides.
• Spirit of Sagamore – Celebrate the new season in style with the all-new Spirit of Sagamore suite experience. Gather up to eight of your favorite guests for a one-of-a-kid private party in Sagamore Pendry Baltimore’s Governor Harbor Suite or Presidential Suite, featuring a VIP Sagamore Whiskey pairing tasting and small bites.
• Thanksgiving Family Dinner At Home (November 24-25) – Enjoy the best of Thanksgiving at Rec Pier Chop House at home. Each family meal serves up to 6 people and includes starters, entrees, and of course, dessert. Advance ordering is required and available until November 21 online or by calling the restaurant directly. Pick up will be available November 24 and 25 from 11am – 2pm.
• Thanksgiving Pies to Go (November 1-25) – Freshly baked holiday pies will be available for order through November 25. Choose between classic pumpkin pie, or Italian apple crostata. All pies are available in 9-inch sizes, and orders must be placed 48 hours in advance.
• Baltimore holiday retail pop-ups (November 13-December 22) – Get all your holiday shopping done at once at Sagamore Pendry Baltimore’s holiday pop-up shops. Featuring local Baltimore retailers select holiday gifts and stocking stuffers in the hotel’s concierge lounge. Weekly, Thursday – Sunday.
• First Annual Tree Lighting (December 3) – Enjoy an evening of holiday fun, live music, hot ciders and festive activities throughout the evening. 6pm – 8pm, Reservations required and can be made by calling 443.552.1400.
• Suite Solstice (December 2020) – Bring holiday cheer to your room with Sagamore Pendry Baltimore’s Suite Solstice package, featuring in-room holiday décor, festive decorating amenities like holiday stockings, nightly milk and cookies and materials to send letters to Santa.
