Pendry Hotels & Resorts Announces 2021 Holiday Programming with Festivities from Coast to Coast
From Holiday Dining to Seasonal Stay Packages at Properties from San Diego to New York City, and A Custom Holiday Ornament Designed by Heidi Merrick, Pendry Rings in the Holiday Season with Style
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIF. (November 3, 2021) – Pendry Hotels & Resorts today announced its lineup of holiday programming offered from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve at Pendry San Diego, Pendry West Hollywood, Pendry Chicago, Pendry Manhattan West and Sagamore Pendry Baltimore. There will be no shortage of merriment at Pendry Hotels & Resorts this season, with festive offerings at all properties from coast to coast showcasing the best each city has to offer—from Pendry San Diego’s highly anticipated annual Chefsgiving, to Pendry Manhattan West’s inaugural Holidays in the City Package—the perfect way to spend the season in New York City.
This year, Pendry Hotels & Resorts has also collaborated with Los Angeles based designer, Heidi Merrick, to launch “Happy Heidi Holidays from Pendry.” Merrick will ring in the holiday season by lighting the Christmas tree at Pendry West Hollywood on November 30, debuting her signature ornament, created specifically for and only available at all Pendry properties.
Pendry will celebrate the holiday season with something special at each of the brand’s six destinations, from festive food and beverage to quintessential destination experiences set to create unforgettable holiday memories.
Located in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, Pendry San Diego will offer the following special packages, food and beverage offerings, and celebratory events throughout the holiday season:
- Chefsgiving at Provisional Kitchen, Café & Mercantile (November 18 at 6:30pm) – Inspired by the spirit of Thanksgiving, join six of San Diego’s most renowned chefs including Provisional’s very own Chef de Cuisine Brandon Sloan as they prepare a family-style feast with a cause. The Chefsgiving meal will feature creative holiday dishes prepared by each of the chefs, with wine pairings. Additional participating chefs include Executive Chef JoJo Ruiz of Lionfish / Serea Coastal Cuisine, Chef de Cuisine Chris Gentile of AVANT at Rancho Bernardo Inn, Executive Chef Davin Waite of Wrench and Rodent Seabasstropub, Wayfarer Bread and Pastry Owner Crystal White and Clément Le Déoré of Desserts by Clément. - Deck the Halls of Nason’s Beer Hall (November 25-January 2, 2022) – It’s the most wonderful time for a beer! For the third year, Nason’s will deck its hall with the jolliest, over-the-top holiday décor and will feature frosty beers, jolly cocktails, tasty bites, and festive merriment.
- Pancakes and Pajamas Holiday Brunch at Provisional Kitchen (December 18, 9am to 2pm) – No need to wear your ‘holiday best’ for this brunch. Join Pendry San Diego for a festive holiday brunch…in your PJs! Enjoy a pancake board to share for the table with toppings and accompaniments, brunch favorites, and a pair of complimentary children’s holiday pajamas from chic pajama partner P.J. Salvage. Tickets are priced at $35 per child (ages 3-12) and include children’s pajamas (perfect for photos with Santa!).

Pendry West Hollywood rings in its first holiday season with French-inspired holiday desserts by Pastry Chef François Behuet, holiday cocktails and cookie decorating classes and a New Year’s Eve celebration at one of Los Angeles’ hottest new restaurants, Merois.
- Seasonal Pies (November 2-23) – Freshly-baked holiday pies will be available for pick-up at Ospero starting on November 19. From classic pumpkin pie to pumpkin cheesecake, pecan pie and more, Chef François and team have created a holiday pastry case to envy. All pies are available in 9-inch sizes. - Holiday Cocktail and Cookie Decorating Class (November 19 & December 17, 4pm) – Join Merois General Manager Byron Lazaroff-Puck and Executive Pastry Chef François Behuet in creating a classic holiday cocktail for adults, and cookie decorating for children at Ospero. Adults’ tickets are priced at $35 and children’s tickets are priced at $15.
- New Year’s Eve at Merois – Count down to the New Year at Merois, with a live DJ and Champagne toast at midnight. Dinner seatings are available at 5:30pm, 7pm and 9pm (food service ends at 11pm). Adults’ tickets are offered at $350 and tickets for children 12 and under are $45.
